About Yangju

Yangju has an area of 310.49 square kilometers and a population of about 280,000. The city is divided into five administrative districts: Baekseok-eup, Gwangjeok-myeon, Nam-myeon, Eunhyeon-myeon, Jangheung-myeon. Yangju has a very wide range of military facilities, and the Armed Forces Yangju Hospital is located. Yangju-si is in the central and northern part of Gyeonggi-do, reaching 20km from east to west and 30km from north to south. In general, there are few flatlands due to the large number of mountains, and flatlands are scattered along rivers flowing in the west, south and north directions.
