Xinjiang is officially known as theXinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region(XUAR,Mandarin:新疆维吾尔自治区,Xīnjiāng Wéiwú'ěr Zìzhìqū;Uyghur:شىنجاڭ ئۇيغۇر ئاپتونوم رايونى,Shinjang Uyghur Aptonom Rayoni).
