West Central Saskatchewan is most made up of flat Prairie land, but also serves as a transition between the dry grasslands to the south and boreal forests of the north. The region is bisected by both the South Saskatchewan and North Saskatchewan Rivers. Its economy is primarily associated with agriculture.
