About Vercors
The mountains are a good destination for people interested in nature sports such as hiking, Nordic skiing, alpinism, and caving. Vercors massif (dark greens and blue on the map) is a group oflimestone plateaussurrounded by 300-m (1000-ft)vertical cliffsof limestone.
