About Tengzhou
Teng began from the Yellow Emperor, because of the territory of the spring water "surge" named. The archaeological excavation of the "North Xin Culture" site dating back to 7,300 years shows that this is one of the earliest birthplaces of Chinese civilization. In the twenty-second year of Dading (1182), the Jin Dynasty established Tengyang Prefecture; Dading twenty-four years (1184) changed to Tengzhou. In ancient times, it was "the land of The Three Kingdoms and five cities, and the land of prosperous culture". During the reign of Zhenguan, Li Yuan-ying, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin, was enthroned in Tengzhou, Shandong Province, and built an attic in Tengzhou named "Tengwang Pavilion" (the first one in Chinese history).
