About Seqqez
Saqqez's history goes back to the 7th millennium BCE. It is famous as a centre of performing arts, painting, sculpture, music, literature, poetry and cinema. The Surani dialect of the Kurdish language is the common language of the Kurdish people, and most of the services in the city are done in this language, but the people of Saqqez speak Persian.
