About Sehlabathebe National Park
In the southeastern corner of the small mountainous country of Lesotho, the park's average elevation is2,400m (7,900ft)above sea level. Spectacular rock formations, rock pools and waterfalls are some of the park's highlights. In addition to the mountains, several different types of grassland can be encountered in the national park. The flora is made up of Afro-Alpine and Sub-Alpine plants and herbs. The park is home to several endangered species; different types of vulture and the Maloti Minnow.
