About Salt Lake City International Airport
SLC International is by far the largest, but not the only commercial airport in the state of Utah. Other airports served by commercial flights are nearMoab,St. George,Provo, andOgden. The airport is located just 10 minutes by car from Downtown Salt Lake City. The current airport terminal and surrounding infrastructure recently underwent a complete overhaul; the current terminal with two concourses (A and B) opened in 2020, at which time the old terminal was decommissioned and torn down. Construction is ongoing to expand the concourses; this is not generally a disturbance to travelers.
