Pyeongtaek City is a city in the southwestern part of Gyeonggi-do, Korea. On May 10, 1995, 澤 City was launched in the form of an urban-rural complex by merging Songtan City, Pyeongtaek City, and Pyeongtaek-gun. It borders Anseong City and Yongin City to the east, Osan City and Hwaseong City to the north, and Asan City, Cheonan City, and Dangjin City in Chungcheongnam-do to the south by the border of Asan Bay. The administrative district is 15 dong, 5 myeon, and 4 eup. City Hall is located in Non-jeon-dong. Pyeongtaek City can be divided into three main areas: southern, northern, and western areas.
