About Pulau Hatta
The original name of the island is 'Rozengain' island. It was renamed 'Hatta', to commemorate the first Vice President, Mohammad Hatta, who was exiled in Banda Neira. There are two villages in Hatta Island. Most of the accommodation is in the Old Village (on the Northwest side on the island). The Old Village doesn't have its own water supply so you are recommended to use water sparingly.
