About Osage Beach
Osage Beach was founded as Zebra in 1886, and was renamed to its current name in 1935, a few years after the creation of the lake. The town is cut in half by the Grandglaize Arm of Lake of the Ozarks, with the two sides connected by the Grand Glaize Bridge.
