About Nymburk
Nymburk, founded around 1275 as a royal city, is located at the mouth of the Mrlina river and the Elbe (Czech: Labe). The town is situated on both banks of the Elbe River and lies at the confluence of the Elbe and Mrlina rivers. It was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. The city has around 15,000 inhabitants (2019).
