About Mutarara
Mutarara is notable for being at the northern end of the Dona Ana Bridge, the longest railway bridge in Africa. Until 2009, it was the lowest fixed crossing point on the river; a new road bridge atCaiais now the lowest. It is still possible to cross on foot.
