About Mun island
Mun Island is home to 118 species of plants that grow on the ground, including a colony of barley rice trees and large barley bran trees that grow only on Jeju Island, and a gourd tree, which is home to black pigeons, is also growing. There are a total of 142 species of plants growing on Beomseom Island, of which Beechwoods of the Asteraceae family, which grows only on Geomundo Island and Jeju Island, are native.
