About Mount Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary
As the name reveals, the park comprises Mount Hamiguitan and the surrounding region. The highest mountain, Hamiguitan, is1,620m (5,310ft)above the sea level. Flora-wise, the highlights of the sanctuary are its unique pygmy forest and its wealth of carnivorous plants (nepenthes). The wildlife sanctuary is a habitat for the critically endangered Philippine eagle.
