Minab is a large city, 25 km from the Gulf of Oman, and not far fromBandar Abbas. Its economy is known for fishing, agriculture and handicrafts. The population is mainly Shi'a but also has a Sunni minority. The livelihood of the populace in Minab is still traditional, fishing ways wearing, colors, women are the most active women in Hormozgan by working and earning money in producing handicrafts.
