About Milan Malpensa Airport
Malpensa has two runways, and two terminals that are 4km apart by road. The newer and larger Terminal1 opened in 1998 on the western side of the airport. The older Terminal2 is at the northern end of the runways and is used only by Easyjet. Terminal 2 has been temporarily closed since 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. All flights have been moved to Terminal 1.
