About Malalane
Malalane town was planned in the form of a wagon wheel and the town was established on 6 July 1949. Malalane means “the place of small lala palms". King Mswati’s Emlalani regiment was named after where the town now stands. The farms in the region produce sugarcane, subtropical fruit and winter vegetables.
