About Luoding
Luoding is the hometown of Nanjiang culture in China, and the hometown of folk culture and art in Guangdong Province. Nanjiang culture has a long history. Folk art and culture, including Takishu song, Dongshan ancestral temple fair, Hegu glutinous rice, Luoding douchi brewing skills, and Luoding wrinkled gauze fish rot production skills, are well-preserved. Luoding River (Nanjiang) is an important link between the Central Plains and the Maritime Silk Road and an ancient post road, while Luoding is the most important node on the Nanjiang River. The Luoding River basin (including its tributaries) is all within the territory of Zhili Prefecture in Ancient Luoding.
