city and urban gmina of Poland
About Lubin
Lubin has a population of about 75,000. It is better known as a functional modern city than as a tourist destination. You can finds bits of history peeking out from between soviet era monstrosities and post soviet glitz, but they are few and hard to find. Although it does not draw a lot of tourists, those who live in the more rural parts of the surrounding area appreciate it as a place to find goods and services sometimes hard to come by in the smaller towns.
