About Los Quetzales National Park
It is a largenational parkcovering an area of more than 5,000 hectares (12,000 acres) and it is surrounded by a far larger protected area called theLos Santos Forest Reserve. Los Quetzals was established in 2006 by carving out part of the Los Santos Forest Reserve. The park also borders theTapanti National Park.
