About Longquanyi

Longquanyi District (龙泉驿区), a district ofChengdu,Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of central Chengdu, bordering Jinjiang District (锦江区) in the west, Tianfu New District (天府新区) Chengdu Direct Administration Area (成都直管区) in the southwest, Xindu District (新都区) in the north, Chenghua District (成华区) in the northwest, and Qingbaijiang District (青白江區), Jintang County (金堂县) and Janyang City (简阳市) in the east. As of June 2023, Longquanyi District has seven streets and three towns under its jurisdiction, with the district people's government stationed at No. 79 East Street, Longquan Street. Longquanyi District was originally under the jurisdiction of the ancient state of Shu, with nearly 600 years of county history, the Ming Hongwu nine years (1376) to set up Longquan Town Inspection
