About Llogara National Park

The area was established as National Park in 1966. The Llogara National Park is centred on the Ceraunian Mountains along the Albanian Riviera, spanning a surface area of 1,010 ha (10.1 km²). Its terrain includes large alpine meadows, vertical rock faces, precipices and dense forests. It offers worth-seeing panoramic views over the Ionian sea and the Greek islandCorfu. The region has been recognised as an important and diversified bird and plant (pine, oak and fir trees growing on limestone and dolomite) area.
