About La Toussuire
La Toussuire is part of the Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire municipality. Jean-Pierre Vidal, a child who grew up in the resort, is an Olympic ski champion in 2002 in Salt Lake City. Nowadays he owns a sports shop in the resort with his dad. Climate is cold and moderate. Summer starts from end of June and ends in September. The ski resort is 1750 m above sea level.
