About Kwoi
Kwoi is the Jaba local government area headquarters and its biggest town. The famous village ofNokis located due north of the town, whileKafanchan, the largest town in Southern Kaduna, is located northeast of the town. The official name of the town comes from theHausacorruption of original name the natives call their town,KwainorHaar Kwain. The town was founded by the Ham people, whose language is called Hyam, a Plateau language of central Nigeria. The palace of the traditional ruler of the Ham or theKpop Hamis located within the town.
