About Jilin
Jilin province, which is in the central part of Northeast China, plays an important role in research on the origin of prehistoric jades and cultural exchange in this area. The name derives from the construction of Jilin Wu La City at the beginning of theQing Dynasty(Ji for short), and the provincial capital isChangchunCity. Jilin is a multi-ethnic province, including in addition to Han people important minorities of ethnic Koreans, Manchus, Mongols, Hui and Xibe people.
