London Heathrow is a giant, sprawling airport divided into four passenger terminals (numbered 2, 3, 4 and 5). Terminal 2 is also called "The Queen's Terminal". Terminal 1 was closed permanently in June 2015. The airport was established in the late 1940s, and is London's primary airport and the premier air gateway into the United Kingdom.
