The city's main attraction is the world famous museum of native son, Salvador Dalí . After the Prado inMadrid, it is the most visited museum in all of Spain. It is often seen as part of a day-trip fromBarcelonaor the packaged hotels ofCosta Brava. But beyond the museum, Figueres can be a pleasant place to spend a night or two.
