Dewey Beach is a beach town along the Atlantic Ocean in Sussex County in the southern part of the state of Delaware. The town is home to several beach houses and hotels where visitors stay. Dewey Beach has several nightclubs and restaurants along the bay, which bring in famous acts and bands to the town during the summer months. Because of its nightlife offerings, Dewey Beach attracts a younger crowd. The year round population of approximately 300 increases to 30,000 in the summer months as tourists come to Dewey Beach.
