About Deux-Montagnes
Lac des Deux-Montagnes and Rivière des Mille Îles are the main attractions for water sports in the area. The north shore of the Rivière des Mille Îles is a 4.5-km shoreline that promotes boating on the river and Lac des Deux-Montagnes. The Grand-Moulin dam, erected at the outlet of Lac des Deux-Montagnes, connects the Laval-Ouest district to Laval on Île Jésus, on the south shore, east of the city of Deux-Montagnes. It spans the Boisée Island. Built in concrete, it has a cycle path and a wide pedestrian walkway.
