About Bushkill Falls
Charles E. Peters purchased the land surrounding the falls and opened the area to public in 1904. Over the years, Charles developed further the area of attraction by building trails and bridges to make the falls more accessible. Bushkill Falls is owned and operated by the Peters family. Bushkill Falls consists of eight falls with the Main Falls cascades over 100 feet. From the headwaters of Bushkill Creek the crystal clear water descends toward the Delaware River. The eight falls are all connected by hiking trails and bridges. The Bushkill Falls natural environment includes a variety of natural mountain plants, trees and flowers. The Pocono itself, in which the attractions are located, is home to a wide variety of both local and migratory bird species including song birds, ducks and geese,
