About Asuke
As a separate town before 2005, Asuke flourished as a post station on the trail used to transport salt. Today, the area is very reminiscent of the past. Its townscape is filled with remnants from the past including houses made of black board walls and warehouses with white earthen walls. The local tourist association has apartly multilingual guide site.
