Aglou was initially a fishing village but is being developed as a tourist destination. The beach is a few km and bus stops away, and called "Aglou Plage". The beach is a favorite getaway place for people fromTiznitto escape its sometimes insane heat since a public bus goes there. When people talk about "Aglou", they usually refer to "Aglou Plage", since "Aglou Village" itself does not offer much.
